I am avid bow hunter and love this stand. It's light weight which makes it easy to setup on your own and very sturdy. I have used this stand for the last few seasons and find the adjustable seat a real step above what the competition has to offer. LCDR Tj Schmitz

This is my second season with this stand. Last year I was very happy with it since it was so comfortable with no noises. The one issue I had with it is when I went to take it down. It needs a much better strapping system. I could not release the strap very eassily even though I lifted the platform as directed. It also took me a few trys last year to get it tight enough to the tree. This year When I set it up I could not get it tight to the tree no matter how many times I tried. Id lift the platform try and tighten the strap and lower the platform several times. (make sure you have a bungy cord with you to hold the platform up while you tighten the strap) after getting on the stand it was creeking like crazy. The next day I brought a rachet strap and used that to tighten the stand to the tree and that seemed to work great. I did leave the strap that came with the stand for saftey on as well. after getting on the stand it was much more quiet but did still had a few squeaks on it and mainly the seat. I hit all movable points with a little siicone lubricant and now I have a it very quiet. When I go to take the stand down this year i'll have to bring a hammer for leverage to release the strap, and next year i'm only using a heavy duty rachet strap.

The stand itself is as good as you can get but they have ruined the seat, it's so much smaller than it use to be on the older stands about half the size! It slides around really bad and there is no way to get it tight. Also it doesn't come all the way to the tree like they use to so there is a gap that you fall in between the seat and the tree!! Of all things to change and make smaller is the seat, the one thing that keeps you comfortable!!!! But like I said the stand itself is the best as there is anywhere! Jim
